Teaching and learning process in the institute caters to diverse academic needs of the students. The principal and faculties regularly attend seminars, workshops and conferences to update their knowledge. Almost 90% faculties have adopted such training by attending and presenting their research papers. Out of 27 faculties 25.93% hold Ph. D., 3.70% hold M. Phil. Degrees and 7.41% faculties have passed NET/SLET exams. We frequently use LCD, Computers and OHP to keep pace with the need of the modern time. The N.S.S., C.W.D.C. and Students’ Union of institute are actively engaged in various extension activities and community outreach programmes. Various 19 committees are formed by the steering committee to promote and look after all the academic, curricular and co-curricular activities of the institution. Most of the departments run their own study circle for academic upliftment of the students.

Students’ counseling is effectively handled, feedbacks are received and analyzed by the counseling committee of the college. The Campus Development Committee and IQAC Committee convinced the management for Rs. 20 lacs on renovations in the college.

The IQAC assigned important task to maintain staff diary, regular presence, class tests, assignments and transparent evaluation system in the college. The institution has two-storied building having 3347.37 sq. mts. built up area in 13.60 acres of land with enriched natural surroundings.

The campus contains a main building, library building, laboratories, Microbiology building, parking, canteen, gardens, a gymnasium*, guest house cum hostel building, health center* and above all more than 1,000 trees in the campus. The socio-eco. profile reveals that almost 95% of students belong to rural and poor socio-economic background. To meet the requirements of the students of area gradually we started Commerce in 1991, Microbiology in 1995 and CMLT in the year 2008. Now, with the establishment of Alumni and Parents’ Association, we will be in contact with them to fulfill their future needs. At present, the institute is run by extremely talented and deserved authorities i.e. Mr. Pankajbhai Patel (President) who is also a Chairman of Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd. And Mr. S. R. Patel (Hon. Secretary).We believe: Perfection is unattainable but if pursued effectively, we can attain excellence.
